Producer Dinner Series: Tenuta La Meridiana
On Wednesday, June 17th, we welcome Federico Primo, owner of Tenuta La Meridiana, back to Dante for another evening in our Producer Dinner Series.
Chef Nick first met Federico in Italy during Vinitaly in 2024, which eventually led to Federico making his first visit to Omaha and Dante last year. That dinner sold out quickly, and after such a great night around the table, Federico is making the trip back again.
The evening will focus entirely on the range and character of Barbera from Monferrato, Piedmont, featuring four different expressions from the estate, one rosé and three reds, paired alongside a four-course menu from the Dante kitchen.
Tenuta La Meridiana has become one of the benchmark producers of Barbera in Piedmont, crafting wines that show both the versatility of the grape and the distinct personality of the region. This dinner is designed to explore that range at the table, with Federico guiding guests through the wines, the region and the story behind the estate.
