August Wine Events: Sicily & Tuscany
SOLD OUT! Directly from Carlentini, Sicily, Omaha’s sister city, to Dante! We are thrilled to welcome Eleonora Formica for this very unique wine school! Volcanic and dynamic like the land where she was born, Eleonora grew up between Lentini and Carlentini, and today she is the president of the Carlentini Omaha Association. This is an international association whose main purpose is strengthening cultural ties between the U.S. and Italy and promoting our sister city partnership! Many Omaha families hail from Lentini and Carlentini, and this will be an educational treat to have such a dynamic and interesting individual explaining the wines of Sicily! If you love Italian wine, dive into the rich history of Sicilian wines and join us on Saturday, August 19th at 2pm. Tickets are only $25!
What makes a Chianti, a Chianti? What is Brunello? Why do we love the infamous Rosso Toscana so much? All of theses questions will be answered in Dante Wine School: The Wines of Tuscany! Tuscany is highly regarded as the most famous region of Italy as well as the most visited. On this journey, we will examine many great wines of this region as well as the amazing people behind the labels. Tickets for this event will sell fast, so secure yours today! Event is Saturday, August 26th and tickets are $40.
Your favorite wine event is back and we invited the top wine minds of Omaha to join us for an afternoon of pure delight. At this drop in style event, we will showcase the best wines that Tuscany has to off has to offer. You’ll grab a glass and go vendor to vendor tasting their most enjoyable bottles and hopefully find your new favorite wine for any occasion! The cost is $25 per person and includes unlimited wine and pizza and education from many of Omaha’s top wine professionals. Tickets are available on OpenTable or day of at the door. Grab your friends, come thirsty and make an afternoon out of this fun event! All wine will be available for purchase.
